Your grandpa told tales of a great and powerful idealistic bird of the eighties. The “Redempt Bird”! This bird stood tall and proud above all birds of the planet. The “Redempt Bird” considered itself all-powerful. Its intelligence far greater than any bird of the sky. As it soared circling the skies it consumed all that crossed it’s path. Fat and inflated it struggled to stay aloft until such time as it would drop its smelly load. The “Redempt Bird” began a deflationary spiral. It did not understand. It became confused. The “Redempt Bird” circles spiraling ever decreasing circles till it flies up its own ass. The “Redempt Bird” no more!

Your Grandpa explained that the “Redempt Bird” was like the government flying up its own ass. That deflation would destroy this great country. Your grandfather advised that the flight of the “Redempt Bird’s” could be altered although its head was already stuck up its ass.
Society must make government accountable! Then, and only then will the “Redempt Bird” fart and blow its head out of its ass.

Your Grandpa died in 2001.
